What helps you to Bloom?

OK. It’s time to think about what the most conducive conditions are for you to bloom, dear MAMA. It might be particular people, particular places, or particular experiences that really make you tick, that help your petals unfurl. It could be the bosom of your family, the dance floor, getting lost in a forest. It could be the people in your life that fill you up, burst you open, allow you to be beautiful. It could be a combination of many.

Below are some questions or prompts to get you thinking about what helps you to bloom.

You feel safe and able to share how you feel

You feel able to be vulnerable

You feel able to accept your imperfections

You feel able to hear - and accept - compliments

Consider 5 people in your life who help you to bloom.

Do they require you to learn?

Do they need you to contribute?

Do they need you to interact with others?

Do they require you to be on your own?

Are they during the daytime or nighttime?

Are you in control and able to make choices?

Do they involve surprises?

Are the physical, intellectual, creative?

Are you focused on you or someone or something else?

Consider 3 situations - that you might find yourself in over the course of the next couple of months - where you feel able to bloom. What are the conditions - the thoughts, the feelings, the circumstances - that allow you to unfurl your petals?

What are the activities that help you to bloom?

Are you making something?

Are you using your hands, your mind, your body, your wisdom?

Are you absorbing something, or providing something for others?

Which senses are you exciting?

What is your heart rate, your tempo?

Is there a cause and effect? Or is there just being…?

Is this something you do everyday - or could do everyday?

Consider some core activities - one-offs or everyday moments - that make you feel like you are blooming from the inside.
